Yubaba is the Lounge project of Frederico Drummond e Pedro Gomide an evolving journey from dub into house, with a trip hop feeling and an electro taste, featuring a diverse array of live musicians such as the ones in the first album: singers Thailan, Blacklight, and Nathalia Faria, plus the trumpet player Dan Covan and a number of Brazilian percussionists, create soulful melodies and rhythmic textures.
Long time friends Pedro and Fred have been active artists for many years on the Brazilian chill-out and trance scenes, appearing at several of the premiere festivals in Brazil, USA and Europe. They join their skills in this project, where they mix their cultural influences, recreating the eclectic and open-minded mood you could only find in Brasil.
